URBAN DECAY NAKED FLUSHED REVIEW

URBAN DECAY NAKED FLUSHED

Urban Decay launched this Bronzer, Highlighter and Blush compact for Spring 2013, the Bronzer is a sheer of Orange Brown, which I super love, It looks great on my skin tone.

The blush included in the compact is described as "dusty rose satin with a hint of shimmer", which gives a really nice glow on my cheeks. The texture is a little bit dry and difficult to pick up with a brush so you do need to swirl the brush around a bit...

The highlighter is described as a soft pink champagne shimmer (frosty/metallic), the texture of the highlighter is a bit different compared to the bronzer and blush, it's more buttery or creamy.

Overall, I love the palette, I sometimes use it as my eyeshadow, because all the colors blend in nicely. I've been using this everyday since I got it, its very travel friendly...all in one face palette, so It's really handy!

I absolutely love the packaging, its so sleek,it has a large mirror and snaps shut so easily with the magnetic closing.

MAC Fashion Set Embrace Me Lipstick (Lip Swatch and Review)

MAC Fashion Set Embrace Me Lipstick (Lip Swatch and Review)

(Limited Edition)

Finish: Matte

This Lipstick is described as Bright Fushsia cream. It's matte, blue based pink and the color is slightly more magenta then my Mac Candy yum yum. It's a really nice bold color that you can wear everyday. It can be a bit drying on the lips since its matte finish so you might want to use a lip balm under it.

Like every other MAC matte lipstick this has a good staying powder, it can stay for about 6-8 hours on me and still look good.

BEN NYE BANANA LUXURY POWDER REVIEW

BEN NYE BANANA LUXURY POWDER

My Skin Type: Oily Combination

Today, I'll be doing a review on the Ben Nye banana luxury powder product that was made famous by Wayne Goss, Kim Kardashian's Make Up artist..I've seen a lot of reviews on youtube and reviews here online about this product but I still want to put mine out there...

This product comes in 3 sizes (1.5 oz. , 3 oz. and the 8 oz. ) I have with me the biggest one which comes into a jar, not the usual Plastic shaker bottle.

I use this as my setting powder (because my Make Up for Ever loose powder is too expensive, I wasn't able to keep up, kidding!) Anyway,  it has yellow undertone that is most likely to go well with most skin tones, it feels silky on my skin and not scratchy or grainy like other powders.

It gives you a matte finish, totally looks natural even if I put on layer upon layer, I don't have worries about it looking too cake-y on me!

Since I got the biggest size, it was so difficult for me to travel it. So, I had to buy a sifter for it and transfer it there just to make it more travel-friendly.

Overall, this powder is great, It's a must have if you are looking for a cheap/affordable-great quality-setting powder, I totally recommend this!

Michael Kors Selma Bag Review

MICHAEL KORS SELMA BAG

I recently purchased this beautiful MK Selma Bag in brown a week ago and I've been crazy inlove with it..It's Palm Saffiano leather, great quality..super stylish and very durable.

Interior:
Monogram Lining
Main zip pocket
4 open slip pocket

Size:
9"H x 12 1/4"W x 3 1/2"D.

It has a Gold Logo at the top center of the bag.

Top Zip Closure

This bag runs for $358 USD, and was a little under $400 with tax. Here in the Philippines it's available at MK stores (Greenbelt 5 and Rustan's in Glorietta) for php 23,000, tax included. (for the price, it is extremely worth it!)

The design is classy and very versatile, you can carry it anywhere...to the office or wear it on a casual day, it comes in a wide variety of colors too.

It does resemble the PRADA saffiano tote with a bit of Celine  trapeze on it, but both bags are way off budget, so this is a very good alternative for me.

Overall, I love the bag..I highly recommend it!

Graduation Make Up look

Graduation Season is finally here, so I would like to help make this experience more memorable for our graduates. Here are some of my Make Up works this March..I hope you like them!

Tip:
1. Keep it CLEAN and SIMPLE as much as possible

2. Use Warm/Neutral Shades for you eyeshadow, to get a more natural looking make up, adding a little color will be nice too, try colors that will brighten your eyes. (just don't over do it!)

3. Your foundation should be able to withstand sweat and oil  since graduation season starts from March-April (which is summer in the Ph!). So, better be ready and get a long wearing and waterproof foundation.

4. ENJOY. It's tough to get through College in one piece. So better enjoy this moment and make it count!

Congratulations and may God Bless you ALL!!!

MAC Archie Girls Collection- Betty Bright Lipstick

MAC Archie Girls Collection- Betty Bright Lipstick swatch and review

REVIEW:

I'm really excited to do this review coz I've been waiting for the the Archie Collection to come out in stores and as expected it came a lil' late here in the Philippines and I'm pretty sure they'd be sold out everywhere once they are out. So, I had to order them online to make sure I get every lipstick and blush from the collection.

Anyway, I will be doing a separate review for every lipstick I got from the collection but for now I wanna do a hand/lip swatch for the lipstick that stood out the most for me in the whole lipstick collection.

MAC BETTY BRIGHT LIPSTICK- retails $16.50 (US price), its one of the 6 limited edition lipstick that was recently launched by MAC, it is described as "light vibrant peach", but honestly I don't find it peach at all. It looks more pink on me than peach/coral. I love love the color, I think it looks great on me.

Finish: (SATIN) Comfortable to wear, I don't find it drying on the lips.

Packaging: I love the packaging, the cute little hearts printed on the tube is beyond adorable.

The only issue I have with is that the color can look uneven if too many layers are applied.
